På bar - McCree

McCree rynkede brynene og nikkede. "Yeah .. lotta pressure from all sides, kept everything heated up .. then they went for Gérard" sagde han og rynkede brynene. "Nearly got 'im, around the same time O'Deorain began her experiments on Gabe .. I think something in 'im snapped"

"Gérard?" spurgte Ashe og så ham an, drak mere wishky.

McCree drak lidt whiskey. "Yeah … another agent. A close friend of Gabe I think, never knew him that well myself"

"And he was attacked?" spurgte hun

McCree nikkede. "Yeah, survieved the first couple of tries, but then they got 'im in the end"

Ashe nikkede langsomt "sorry to hear that."

McCree sukkede svagt. "Yeah well .. gt a lot of us in the end, one way or the other .. infiltrated the organization. In the end ya could hardly tell friend from foe .. that's when I bailed"

Ashe så ham an ".. no idea in staying in a family that is not family at all."

McCree smilte svagt og rystede på hovedet. "Naw .. and well, it was time to pick a side and none of them seemed too good at the moment"

Ashe nikkede forstående "got ya."

McCree smilte svagt. "Well, that's one person at least" sagde han og tømte sit glas

Ashe smilede lidt og skænkede ham et nys glas "well I know about leaving a disfunctional family."

McCree kom til at smile lidt og nikkede. "Yeah ya do" sagde han og drak lidt

Ashe så ham lidt an "so what do ya do now?"

McCree trak lidt på skuldrene. "Travel around .. help out where it's needed" sagde ha og fnøs lidt. "Ain't no one else doin' it, the monkey got that right"

Ashe så ham lidt an "how did there come such an honorable man out of ya Jesse?" hun smilede lidt

McCree rødmede svagt og grinte lidt forlegent. "I don't rightly know, to be honest"

Ashe smilede og tømte sit glas "and off to the sunset ya rode, with yer new rules and values.."

McCree kom til at grine lidt og drak af sit glas. "Yeah well .. ya gotta 'ave some rules"

"That's right." sagde Ashe og nikkede. Hun så ham an.

McCree tømte sit glas og smilte svagt til hende. "Yeah, ya've always been one for rules"

"Rules is what keeps the world going" sagde hun "chaos is no way to live. People don't work well under that. We like a little structure."

McCree nikkede lidt. "Yeah, gotta agree with ya on that one" sagde han enigt

Ashe skænkede dem begge et glas mere ".. so how yer feelin'?"

McCree sukkede svagt og strøg en hånd gennem håret. "Had better days .. had wiorse ones too, so I suppose I don't got nothing to complain about"
